Mike Hainey, BA, CSP

Mike Hainey is President of MGH Leadership, a consulting and educational venture focused on helping customers with business development skills. Mike has been selling professionally for over 10 years in both the commercial printing and packaging industry, and most recently in the utility and power generation industry. Two years were spent in Australia developing the Australian and New Zealand markets for an agent of Symbol Technologies, a manufacturer and developer of bar code scanning technologies. In that time, he helped expand sales by over 80% from previous levels. In 2001 Mike achieved the Certified Sales Professional (CSP) designation from the CPSA (Canadian Professional Sales Association).

Most recently Mike holds the position of North American Sales Manager for Adwel International Ltd., a subsidiary of Black & McDonald Ltd. In this capacity Mike is responsible for selling to top executives and engineers in Canada and the United States. In 2002 Mike was awarded the Consistent Achievement Award within the Black & McDonald group of companies and is recognized as a sales leader in the organization.

Mike is a graduate of the University of Toronto and regularly enrolls in educational courses to further his education. Mike lives in Ajax, Ontario with his wife and 2 daughters. He is an active member of the community and is a drummer in the Highland Creek Pipes & Drums, participating in parades and public performances with the band.
